Delicious Food & Drink

our food

We would love to cook for you, whether you require a table for two because you can’t be bothered to cook at home or if you just wish to chat and enjoy life.

Should you wish to arrange a special occasion such as a birthday celebration or a wedding for up to 60 people, we would love to help you. We don’t charge extra because we don’t use table cloths or pretend to be something we’re not. Our menus are straight forward and honest. We use the best, freshest and whenever possible, locally sourced produce. And remember, you don’t have to dress up if you don’t want to.

Our Drinks

A perfectly conditioned pint of real ale.

Children are welcome and we have a children’s menu because we think they should have the opportunity to eat proper food.

Our Chef is happy to make smaller portions or simplified versions of anything on our menu. We love to see babies and children of all sizes at the table with their parents and families.

We are not a ‘high energy’ kids pub and children will need to be supervised by an adult at all times inside the pub and outside on the garden.

We love our drinks as much as we love our food. Our range of draught cask ales and lagers is unrivalled in the area with 4 perfectly conditioned real ales on tap, including our regular gold medal winning Timothy Taylor Landlord. Because we are truly free of any brewery tie, we can buy our real ales from any brewery in the UK and we have sold almost 150 different guest ales in one 12 month period. Our wine is blind tasted to ensure quality. You can choose not to buy a whole bottle because all our wines are available by the glass.
